FF7 Rebirth - How to Dash (Run)
Hold R2 or press L3 to dash in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth). See other ways to run and what you can do while dashing.

Hold R2 or Press the Left Thumbstick

Dash (Hold)	Hold R2
Dash (Toggle)	Click Left Thumbstick (L3)

Hold R2 button while moving to start running. You can also click the Left Thumbstick (L3) to toggle between walking and dashing.

It is recommended to use the Left Thumbstick when traveling long distances as you do not need to hold down the button to run.

You can automatically climb over obstacles while running

While dashing, you automatically use Terrain Actions such as vaulting over obstacles or jumping off a platform.
