The young new president of Shinra Company after the passing of President Shinra. He aims to break away from the bad customs created by his father and rebuild the company, declaring the beginning of a new era at Junon's inauguration ceremony. EN VA: Josh Bowman JP VA: Toru Okawa

Fought Cloud in the Shinra Building

When Cloud and his friends rescued Aerith, Rufus ordered Tseng to extract him from the Shinra Building. Reno and Rude come in with a helicopter and shoot down the other heli that was supposed to help Cloud's party.

The other members of Cloud's party escape, leaving Cloud and Rufus behind. Rufus loses to Cloud and he retreats using their helicopter. During this fight, he came into contact with The Whispers which allowed him to see them moving forward.

A Boss in Remake

You fight Rufus as a boss in FF7 Remake. He uses a custom-made shotgun and fights alongside his military canine, Darkstar.

President of Shinra Company

After the events of the FF7 Remake, Rufus officially became the new president of the Shinra Company. It's said that he'll be declaring a new era for the company with a ceremony in Junon. We'll find out more about this soon in-game!

Shows Up in Junon

Rufus first appears in Junon, celebrating his new presidency. This is also where he gets sent off on a cargo ship en route to Costa del Sol. Little did he know that Avalanche was also onboard the cargo ship. This may change in FF7 Rebirth, however!
