Limit Gauge Guard |
Cloud's build for this challenge is more defense-oriented to help mitigate the damage he takes in case you fail to block or dodge attacks. This is important because you'll want to block attacks to build up the Limit Gauge with Limit Gauge Guard alongside Gotterdammerung.
Also, since there are multiple enemies in this challenge that are weak to Lightning and cast Fire spells, you want to be sure that you have at least Elemental-Lightning and Elemental-Fire equipped on your weapon and armor respectively.
Other notable Materia are Barrier in case you don't have Limit Break to make yourself immune to an attack and Haste for an ever-useful buff that you should have active every round. Lastly, Breach is necessary for Rounds 3 and 4, and Chakra will be your primary healing source unless you need to cast a big Curaga.

Transference Module | Enhanced Draconic Ring |
You may also opt for alternative accessories that help with your limit break if you do not have the Gotterdammerung yet.

Enemies | ・Bandit x5 |
If you have the Gotterdammerung simply use Cloud's Limit Break and then finish off any Bandit that may be left alive.
If you do not have the Gotterdammerung, try to lure the bandits in one area and cast Firaga to deal massive AoE damage, then finish any that are alive.

Enemies | ・White Terror |
For this fight, focus on blocking in Punisher Mode to automatically counter-attack, build up your Limit Gauge, and avoid its heavy damage. You can also cast Stop at the beginning to get a head start against it so it can be pressured as soon as possible.
Whenever White Terror is gathering energy, cast Haste if it's not active already, and Manawall if you're not close to having a full Limit Gauge.
As soon as you see White Terror's about to use Earsplitting Howl, use your Limit Break to make yourself immune to the initial burst and cancel the rest of the attack. From there use Focused Thrusts to stagger it, followed up by Infinity's End for massive damage.
Keep on repeating this process and you'll be moving on to the next round in no time.

Enemies | ・Irasceros |
This fight should be relatively simple due to Irasceros' attacks being easily telegraphed, Firaga healing you thanks to Elemental-Fire and Ice, and Breach to remove Shield and Reflect. Just make sure to block its attacks to build up your Limit Gauge and use Chakra when necessary.
You can also cast Barrier at the start to reduce the damage you take from its physical attacks, in case you fail to block it.
Save your Limit Break to cancel Concentrate, and if you don't have it ready, have at least 2 ATB Charges saved up to cast Thundaga instead. From there, it should get staggered, allowing you to follow up with an Infinity's End while it is down.

Enemies | ・Sanguine Scourge |
Sanguine Scourge's only threatening attack is Rain of Ruin which can damage you for close to half your health, and it also lingers on the field for a few seconds. All of its other attacks are either easily dodged or don't deal significant enough damage when blocked to make you worry.
Just keep your distance and hit it with your Elemental-Lightning basic ranged attacks, and use your Limit Break, Infinity's End, Braver, or spam Disorder once it's been staggered. You can also cast Stop in the beginning to get a head start in pressuring it.
Also, don't use Thunder spells to pressure it so that you'll have max MP going into the final round.

Enemies | ・Ironclad |
This fight can be long and tiring since you'll need to play very defensively to block and dodge the Ironclad's high-damaging attacks. You can cast Barrier at the start to reduce its high damage attacks. Make sure to also save your Limit Breaks for its most dangerous moves, like Thanatos Blade and Gravija, so that you can make Cloud immune to them.
Throughout the fight, slowly whittle it down with Haste active and wait for it to use Sharpen so that you can spam Focused Thrusts to stagger it as soon as possible. Once downed, use Infinity's End and reset any buffs you may need.
Be patient and repeat this process, healing yourself with Chakra if you're below 75% HP. You'll also want to always have ATB Charges saved up in case you need to cast Curaga for when you're brought down to very low HP levels.
As a note, you can opt to dodge its attacks instead of blocking, but you'll have less Limit Breaks to work with. Also, you can use Thunder spells to raise its stagger meter while it's pressured, but you will run out of MP to cast emergency Curagas when you do so.

I tried without gotter and the 5th seems near impossible without it, maybe have a build less reliant on it. Anyone else have some further tips?
