Aerith should have an easy time with this challenge thanks to Elemental-Lightning and Wind plus Warding-Poison and Petrify negating a lot of the difficulty in the later rounds.

Also, Time and ATB Boost allow Aerith to quickly set up her Wards and immediately cast her spells to make quick work out of nearly every enemy in this challenge.

Do note that you should only use Cure spells when you can't heal yourself with Aerith's Limit Break since you want to use her MP for more offensive spells instead.

How to Beat All Rounds

Round 1

Jump to Round
1 2 3 4 5
Enemies Security Officer x2
Slug-Ray x2

Start by using ATB Boost, allowing you to use Arcane Ward followed by a Thundara to kill both of the Slug-Rays immediately. From there simply build up one more ATB Charge to cast Fira on both Security Officers and win the round.

Round 2

Jump to Round
1 2 3 4 5
Enemies Yin & Yang

Set Up Transcendence

Similar to the last round, use ATB Boost into Stop to Arcane Ward plus Fira to instantly get rid of its Yin phase. Once it's in its Yang phase, use Radiant Ward and set up Transcendence while waiting for it to revert to Yin. When it goes back to Yin, use Transcendence II followed by a Fira to win the fight.

Immediately Attack After Yang Takes Aim

If ever it uses Yang Takes Aim, you don't need to worry since Reprieve will leave you at 1 HP, allowing you to kill it one hit since it's also at 1 HP.

Round 3

Jump to Round
1 2 3 4 5
Enemies White Mousse

Attack with Transcendence and Soul Drains

Use ATB Boost as usual, but cast Haste and Radiant Ward into Transcendence instead. You'll mostly be dodging and weaving in basic attacks and Soul Drains this round instead of casting elemental spells to not complicate the fight with multiple elements.

Once Transcendence II is ready, use it on the White Mousse with the lowest health to get rid of them as fast as possible. Repeat the process of using fully charged Transcendences and Soul Drains to win the fight.

Beware of Crush and Devour

This fight should be simple since you're immune to Poison thanks to Warding-Poison and Petrify. Just make sure that you dodge Crush and Devour as these two moves will do a lot of damage if they hit.

Round 4

Jump to Round
1 2 3 4 5
Enemies Hecteyes

Wait for Dispel Reflection to Stagger

Like the last round, use ATB Boost into Haste plus Radiant Ward, followed by a Transcendence last. After you've set up, wait for Hecteyes to use Dispel Reflection before you can stagger it with Radiant Ward-enhanced basic attacks. After it's been staggered, you'll simply need to unleash a Transcendence II, and a Firaga if it lives, to kill it.

Round 5

Jump to Round
1 2 3 4 5
Enemies Quetzalcoatl

Dodge Its Physical Attacks

This round should be easy thanks to Elemental-Lightning nullifying most of Quetzalcoatl's attacks. Just make sure that you dodge Vortex Sweep, Headlong Charge, and Prey since these three moves can do a lot of physical damage.

Setup the Wards and Transcendence

When the fight begins, use ATB Boost and set up Haste and Radiant Ward so that you can also get up Arcane Ward and Transcendence as soon as possible while being able to easily dodge the boss' attacks.

Once you're fully set up, spam Blizzaras to pressure and stagger Quetzalcoatl. When it goes down, use Transcendence II followed by more Blizzard spells to swiftly kill it off.
