Reach Chapter 9 of the Main Story

You will need to progress the main story and reach Chapter 9 in order to gain access to the Buggy. Once you've acquired the Buggy as a vehicle, you can now call the vehicle towards you whenever you're on the desert area of the Corel Region.

The Buggy serves as your personal transport on the desert areas of the Corel Region. Similar to other Chocobo Mounts in other regions, the Buggy can traverse through the water routes that are usually inaccessible to explore.

Automatically Picks Up Items

The Buggy has a unique feature that differentiates it from Chocobo Mounts in other regions. Items can be automatically picked up by the Buggy as long as the vehicle passes through its location on the terrain.

You will no longer be required to press triangle on your controller to pick stuff up.
