Complete Materia can be identified by their Green color. These Materia allow characters to use Complete spells that deal Elemental Damage, provide Healing, or apply Buffs and Debuffs.
A lot of the enemies and bosses in FF7 will have elemental weaknesses. Complete Materia that deal elemental damage can be used to exploit these weaknesses to great effect.
Note: Support spells from Complete Materia can be used outside of combat. These will be handy to ensure your party is fighting fit even when no benches are available in the immediate area.
If you want to increase specific stats, Complete Materia is one of the best ways to do it but their effects are not limited to just providing stat boosts. They can also provide more ATB at the start of the fight to increasing your stagger rate against enemies!
