How to Get the Junon Chocobo
The Chocobo of the Junon Region in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (FF7 Rebirth) can be found southwest of the Seabreeze Tower. Learn where to find the Junon Chocobo, how to get it, and what it does in this guide.

Southwest of the Seabreeze Renmawave Tower
The Junon Chocobo can be foudn southwest of the Seabreeze Renmawave Tower in Under Junon, directly west of the Chocobo Ranch.
How to Unlock the Junon Chocobo
| 1 | Unlock Chapter 4 of the Main Story, and reach Junon. |

| 2 | At the Gabon Ranch, do the side quest "Stuck in a Rut." |
| 3 | Find the Chocobo marked on the map with Chocobo Intel. |
| 4 | Use switches to move obstacles and sneak around undetected in a stealth mini-game. |
| 5 | Capture a Junon Chocobo once prompted. |
1. Reach Junon in Chapter 4
To be able to catch a Junon Chocobo, players must first teach Chapter 4 of the Main Story, where the Junon Region will be unlocked.

2. Do A Specific Odd Job in Gabe's Ranch
Once Junon becomes available, head to Gabe's Ranch and take on the side quest titled "Stuck in a Rut," where Cloud and the team help him fix his chocobo cart with dried driftwood.

3. Head to Chocobo Intel Marked on Map
Once the side quest begins, head west from Gabe's Ranch to an abandoned farm overlooking the sea on a cliff. On the map, it is marked as Chocobo Intel.
4. Hide and Sneak Mini-Game
Once arriving at the marked location, upon finding the Junon Chocobo a stealth mini-game begins. Cloud will lose the mini-game if a Chocobo spots him, so use switches in various locations to move obstacles and keep Cloud hidden from their sight.
5. Wrangle the Chocobo Once Promted
Once the player is close enough to Belle, get behind the Junon Chocobo and press △ as soon as it is prompted. Once captured, Cloud and the team can summon the new mount anywhere at any time in Junon; this will make exploration of the Junon Region much easier.
How to Catch Junon Chocobo
Move While Hiding
Once the stealth mini-game begins, activate the switch right in front. A small train will start moving slowly; use it to your advantage to stay hidden from the Chocobos.
Activate Second Switch to Get Stone
Activate the second switch once you make it there, then proceed to pick up a few stones while on the way. The stones are very crucial for the next few steps.
Throw Stone at Third Switch
When the small train reaches this side, throw a stone at the second switch to activate it again. The obstacle will move again, allowing the player to stay hidden behind the small train.

Upon arriving at the next small train, throw a stone at the switch at the back. The obstacle will start moving to the right, so stay close to it to avoid being spotted by the Chocobos.
Press the Triangle Button to Catch the Junon Chocobo
The route of the small train should lead straight to Belle. Slowly approach the Junon Chocobo, and when the Triangle (△) button prompt appears, press it as soon as possible to capture it!
Junon Chocobo Type
Mountain Chocobo
The Junon Chocobo is a Mountain Chocobo, which is a unique type of Chocobo that can scale vertical walls and help you reach otherwise inaccessible areas.
To climb walls using the Junon Chocobo, simply look for walls with faint markings that point upward with a mural of a Chocobo. Simply approach that wall and your Chocobo will automatically attach itself to the wall.
