The cards listed above will give you the optimal chance of winning the Survival Boot Camp Challenge in Gold Saucer.

Round-by-Round Strategy

You will be able to draw 5 cards at the start of each round. The unused cards from your previous round will be carried over to the next round.

Assess whether you should concentrate your resources to a lane in order to win this challenge.

Use Chocobo Jockey to earn points at the start of the round, then follow it up by using Mandragoras to lock out your opponents from using certain lanes.

After you've completed the Survival Boot Camp Challenge, you will be able to acquire the Sephiroth Card, as well as GP points that correspond to the rank you've earned from beating the challenge.

How to Unlock Survival Boot Camp

Reach Chapter 8 in Main Story

You will be able to unlock the Gold Saucer's Queen's Blood Challenges after you've reached Chapter 8 of the main storyline in the game.

From there, head towards Wonderment Square and talk with the Tournament Organizer to participate in the challenges.

Do note that the Survival Challenges will not yet be available until you've progressed some parts of the storyline.

Unlock Survival Challenges in Chapter 12

Once you've reached Chapter 12 of the main story, a new set of challenges will be unlocked in Gold Saucer Queen's Blood Challenges.

These new set of challenges are called Survival Challenges, and they offer 3 specific challenges called Boot Camp, Extreme, and Nightmare.

Acquire Rank 5 Blood Knight

You will also need to acquire Rank 5 Blood Knight in order to participate in the Survival Boot Camp Challenge. It is recommended that you win against Queen's Blood Players to increase your Queen's Blood rank.
