Elden Ring Nightreign had a scheduled maintenance on July 4 at 1:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) to release a hotfix a game breaking bug in the Everdark Sovereign version of Sentient Pest. See the updates and patches during this server maintenance and when the servers come back online.

A server maintenance was done on July 4, 2025 at 1:00 AM PDT or July 4, 2025 at 8:00 AM UTC for the release of a hotfix for the Everdark Sovereign version of Sentient Pest. The downtime lasted for 30 minutes.
The game is still in App Version 1.01.4, while the Regulation Version has been updated to Ver 1.01.6.

Hotfix Details
Includes Fixes for Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest
There was a game breaking bug that can occur with the current Everdark Sovereign Sentient Pest. The bug consists of Animus, the third boss that spawns in the fight, despawning and becoming unfightable. This makes the fight impossible to clear.
While this bug is already hotfixed, the Elden Ring team noted that they found other issues in the fight, which will "be addressed in a future update". Additionally, they said that a "permanent fix for the current issue" will come out at the same time.
There is currently no date or time for when this future update will be.
