Urchin is one of the Uncommon Artifacts found within Acid Anomalies. Pull out your Detector and use it to find and reveal the location of artifacts near the anomalies.

This can also be farmed in the acid pool part of a cave accessed during Piece of Cake mission near the Old Mill.

An uncommon artifact found in acid anomalies. Submerging the artifact in a test tube filled with saline solutions triggers the accelerated growth of its needles. The process ceases once the needles have completely filled the vessel. |
Prices match values at Rookie and Stalker difficulties. For Veteran difficulty, decrease the selling price by 50%.
The Urchin artifact provides Medium Radio Protection, meaning it will negate the radiation buildup effect of an equipped Medium Radiation artifact or weaker.
Note that the artifact's Radio Protection is an effect separate from the Radiation Protection stat given by suits and masks.
