Elden Ring will be available to both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5! The Souls series has been available for Playstation consoles from the dawn of its predecessor Demon's Souls on Playstation 3, and Elden Ring does not stray away from this formula. Sony fans can rejoice in knowing that the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 will both carry on this tradition.
Elden Ring will also be available on both the Xbox One and Series X/S line. With the exception of the original Demon's Souls and the 2020 Demon's Souls remake for the PS5, this means that Xbox players have also been able to enjoy nearly all FromSoftware releases.
As with most other installments released by FromSoftware, PC users will also be able to get their hands on Elden Ring on Microsoft Windows via Steam. At the moment, the required specs for playing on PC are still unknown, but we will post them as soon as they are made available!
At the time of Elden Ring's release, Elden Ring will not be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The most likely reason is due to hardware limitations, as Dark Souls 3 was also not released on Switch.
Although a few FromSoftware games have made their way to the Nintendo Switch lineup, notably Dark Souls Remastered, there has been no official word as to whether or not there will be a version available for the Nintendo Switch in the future.
