Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes are Shadow Realm Blessings that buff your character and summons even more—but only on the DLC map. How to Start DLC

DLC Requirements
Defeat Radahn Defeat Mohg Interact with Cocoon of the Empyrean at Mohgwyn Palace Note: Beating the base game is not required

To start the DLC, you need to defeat the bosses Radahn and Mohg. Radahn is the fifth base game boss in terms of difficulty order, but you only need to defeat at least one previous boss in order to access him at Redmane Castle.

The 1 boss you're recommended to defeat before Radahn is Margit the Fell Omen in Stormveil Castle, since he's the first boss. Although, it's recommended to be at least Level 70 when fighting Radahn to stand a good chance.

Mohg is located at Moghywn's Palace, where the DLC is accessed from

Mohg is an optional boss located at Moghywn's Palace and it's recommended to be at Level 120 to defeat him. The fastest way to Mohgwyn Palace is to White Mask Varre's questline, where you'll receive the Pureblood Knight's Medal, which will take you to Mohgwyn Palace once consumed.
