This weapon can be obtained from the Nomadic Merchant in Bellum Highway, just north of the Bellum Church. It costs 3,500 runes.

How to Use Composite Bow

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Composite Bow has a D scaling in Dex and an E in Strength at +25 with the Standard affinity. You can increase your damage output by equipping the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom talisman which increase Dex by +5 and Arrow's Sting Talisman talisman which boosts the damage of arrows and bolts.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon is infusable with Ashes of War and is equipped with the Mighty Shot weapon skill. When using mighty shot, you first do an animation where you ready the bow before manually firing an arrow. Note that the animation is a bit longer than when a regular arrow is fired as the string is pulled to its limit before firing a powerful shot that can deal damage through shields.

Mighty Shot is a useful skill to use against enemies that keep their guard up most of the time. Also if you are worried about Light Bows having too short of a range, the talisman Arrow's Reach will increase the weapon's effective range.
