What are Summoning Pool Stakes?

Easily find co-op partners

Elden Ring - Summoning Pool

You can send or find summon signs near Summoning Pools for other players to see. These summon signs work similarly as the ones created by Furled Fingers. The only difference is that summon signs created by effigies are sent directly to the Summoning Pools instead of at the exact spot where the player wrote the sign. This makes it easier for players to find other people to play with whenever they want to.

How to Use Summoning Pool Stakes

Write summon signs

You can use effigies to send a summon sign to a nearby Summoning Pool. Use the Small Golden Effigy if you want to be summoned by other players for help and use the Small Red Effigy if you want to be summoned for a fight to the death. Make sure you're using the right type of Effigy when using the Summoning Pools!

Summoning Pool Stake Update.png

As of Version 1.06, players can now use both effigies to put down their signs both at the Summoning Pool Stake where they are and to distant areas. This means that you do not have to be at a specific Summoning Pool Stake to put down your sign for other players to find.

However, take note that this update excludes all areas in Mohgwyn Palace with Summoning Pool Stakes.

Answer other players' summon signs

Alternatively, you can interact with a Summoning Pool Effigy to reveal summon signs sent by other players. The signs written in gold are friendly ones and will let you pull players to your world so they can help you, while those in red are looking for challengers.
