This weapon has a chance to drop from Large Godrick Knights. There's one that can be farmed at the Gatefront Ruins in Limgrave, however, take note that its droprate is low.

How to Use Partisan

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Partisan scales with Strength and has the highest stat scaling bonus with this attribute. Equipping the Starscourge Heirloom talisman can further increase the damage dealt by this weapon.

You can get even more bonus damage from the weapon's default scaling by applying a Heavy affinity with the Iron Whetblade.

Highest Damaging Spear

The Partisan is the highest damaging spear in the game and is customizable to fit your build or playstyle. It has fast thrusting normal attacks with good range that can be used to apply status effects. Recommended Ashes of War for this weapon are Blood Tax, Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist,

The strong attacks of this are wide slashes instead of the standard piercing thrust attacks and can be used to hit multiple enemies in front of you. Since this weapon is capable of successive attacks, the talismans Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and the Godskin Swaddling Cloth will increase the damage of your successive attacks while restoring HP to you.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Impaling Thrust as its default weapon skill. It allows the user to unleash a powerful forward lunging thrust that can pierce through an enemy's defenses.

Since the weapon can be outfitted with different status effects, this skill makes it easier to inflict these debuffs against shielded enemies and does not use that much FP.
