How to Use Frozen Needle

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Frozen Needle mainly scales with Dexterity and leveling up this stat will have the most increased stat scaling bonus to physical attack. It is a good weapon for high Dexterity players with Frost builds and the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising your Dexterity.

List of All Talismans

Has a Passive Frost Buildup

This weapon's physical attacks can cause Frost to buildup and once the meter has been filled it will inflict Frostbite. An enemy that has been afflicted by this status effect will take increased damage from all sources, making it a strong weapon against most enemies and bosses in the game.

The Frozen Needle is particularly effective at applying Frost with its fast thrusting normal attacks and unique strong attack that fires a short-range ice projectile. Charging the attack will deal more damage and can be fired while retreating by performing a backstep during the animation. This does not require any FP to use.

Weapon Skill can Pierce Shields

This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Impaling Thrust as its default weapon skill. It allows the user to unleash a powerful forward lunging thrust that can pierce through an enemy's defenses.
