How to Use Bloody Helice

Scales with Dexterity, Arcane, and Strength

The Bloody Helice scales primarily with Dexterity and Arcane. Its main stat is Dexterity and adding points to this attribute will increase the damage dealt by the weapon. The Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising your Dexterity.

Adding points to Arcane will improve the weapon's passive buildup and will allow you to apply the status effect in fewer hits.

Has a Passive Blood Loss Buildup

This weapon's physical attacks cause blood loss to build up and filling up the meter will inflict Hemorrhage to an enemy dealing damage that is relative to their HP. It has a decent buildup rate with moderately fast thrusting attacks and shares a unique strong attack animation with Dragon King's Cragblade that consists of two thrusting attacks with long reach.

The talisman Lord of Blood's Exultation and headwear White Mask are good supplementary equipment that will increase the damage of your physical attacks when the status effect is applied.

Weapon Skill is Good for Counterattacking

This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Dynast's Finesse by default weapon skill. It allows the user to avoid attacks by performing a backward spin that can be followed up with two strong attack inputs to counterattack. Do note that counterattacks with this skill use up a lot of your Stamina and the Viridian Amber Medallion can be paired with this weapon and will increase your overall Stamina.

The spin maneuver can be spammed by pressing the skill button and it gives you immunity to damage during the animation. This weapon skill is a good counter to the Rivers of Blood skill and the strong attack after the spin can easily break Poise and can be followed up with another attack to finish off your enemy.
