How to Use Scimitar

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Scimitar equally scales with Dexterity and Strength with Dexterity being the main attribute with the highest scaling after upgrading the weapon past +5. Investing in this attribute will increase the damage dealt by your physical attacks much more than Strength.

Additionally, you can change the affinity of your weapons by using different whetblades to improve the default scaling of this weapon to better scale with your stats. The Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising your Dexterity if you are planning to use this a Dexterity-based weapon.

Good Early Game Curved Sword

This weapon can be acquired in the early game and is an ideal weapon for players with builds focused around Strength or Dexterity. It is a versatile curved sword capable of dealing good damage with its fast-hitting normal and spinning strong attacks.

Its fast attacks can easily apply status effects and Ashes of War such as Seppuku, Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist are recommended as additional damage sources.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Spinning Slash as its default weapon skill. It enables the user to perform a 360-degree spinning slash capable of hitting surrounding enemies. This skill can be followed up with another input to perform another spinning attack.
