Arcane Stat Starts Out High

The bandit's highest starting stat is Arcane, which boosts Discovery to increase rare item drop rates. This stat doesn't offer much to players at the start of the game, since there's little need for rare items if you're just starting out. Since the Dextering skill is a little boosted, the Bandit can still hold its own in battle.

Best Stats to Level Up for the Bandit Class

First Aim for 20 Vigor

Starting out, aim for 20 Vigor, as you'll neep all the HP you can get. You'll be able to use the weapons in your starting inventory, so there's no need to invest in Dexterity right away.

Next Invest in Dexterity or Arcane

If you're aiming for a Dexterity build, it then makes sense to start investing in Dexterity so you can start using Dexterity-scaling weapons as soon as you come across them. Another route would be to invest in Arcane around mid-game to increase the chances of finding rare, powerful weapons.
