You can obtain the Fire Knight's Cookbook 1 from a corpse inside a tent near the Moorth Ruins. From the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, head to the west until you reach a nearby camp. You will see the cookbook from a corpse inside one of the tents in the camp.
