How to Use Vyke's War Spear

Dexterity, Faith, and Strength

Vyke's War Spear has a B scaling in Dexterity, a C scaling in Faith, and a D scaling in Strength at +10. The damage of your attack can be further increased with the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom which raises your Dexterity by +5.

The weapon also deals Madness damage that directly scales with the Faith attribute. The Two Fingers Heirloom which increases your Faith by +5 can increase the buildup rate of the passive and improve the weapon skill Frenzyflame Thrust.

Has a Passive Madness Buildup

Attacking with this weapon causes Madness to buildup and once the meter is full will inflict high amounts of damage to both HP and FP of the affected target. It is especially effective in PvP since it can deal great damage and prevent your enemy from using FP-based attacks.

Once an enemy is affected by this status effect they will be stuck in an animation and won't be able to move for a short period. Take this opportunity to get a free hit against an enemy to deal more damage or finish them off.

Weapon Skill Inflicts Madness in a Large AoE

This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with the Frenzyflame Thrust weapon skill by default. It imbues the weapon with the flame of frenzy before leaping forward to plunge the weapon to the ground causing an explosion of Madness.

Be careful when using this weapon skill since it also causes Madness to buildup in the user. The Clarifying Horn Charm can be equipped to raise your focus and increase your resistance against Madness.
