How to Use Blade of Calling

Scales with Faith, Dexterity, and Strength

The Blade of Calling has high Faith scaling with equal scaling with both Dexterity and Strength. It is still primarily a Dexterity and Faith weapon and investing in these two attributes will have the most increase in the damage output of the dagger.

Good Weapon for Dealing Holy Damage

This weapon is particularly good against enemies with weak resistance against Holy damage and the talisman Sacred Scorpion Charm will raise your Holy attack damage at the expense of more damage taken.

Weapon Skill Deals Damage from Afar

Blade of Calling's weapon skill, Blade of Gold grants the user the ability to leap into the air and fire a blade-like projectile that deals a high amount of Holy damage at long range. The damage of this skill can be increased with the talisman Shard of Alexander.

It has the same slow animation as the Black Knife dagger and using Spirit Ashes to aggro enemies or by keeping a safe distance are key to maximizing the skill effectively.

Weapon Skill Damage Scales with Faith

Adding points to your Faith attribute will raise the attack power of the weapon skill but keep in mind that heavily investing in this stat will result in weak physical attacks for the weapon. Make sure to put into consideration which capability you want to focus on.
