Boss fights in Elden Ring are intense, unforgiving, and most of the time very surprising to the unprepared Tarnished. Read on to learn how to leave a boss fight anytime and keep all of the Runes you've been saving up!

How to Leave a Boss Fight Anytime

Save Quitting

There is a way to easily avoid and leave any boss fight anytime without having to beat or die to a boss in the game. Save quitting and loading back in is a sure way to escape a boss fight and save all of your Runes in the process.

Save and Exit your Game

Once you've entered or encountered a boss fight that you are not prepared for, you can open the Options Menu then head to System and Quit the game. This will save your progress and bring you back to the Main Menu.

Load Up your Save File

At the Main Menu just continue and start up your game as usual and you will be teleported outside of the boss door once you load back with all of your Runes safely with your Tarnished.
