This weapon has a chance of drop from Banished Knights wielding it. The easiest place to farm would be the Banished Knight in the dark room in Stormveil Castle near the Rampart Tower Site of Grace.

How to Use Banished Knight’s Greatsword

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Banished Knight’s Greatsword scales primarily with Strength followed by Dexterity and is a good weapon for players with builds focused around Strength-based weapons. The talisman Starscourge Heirloom can further increase the damage dealt of your physical attacks by raising your Strength attribute.

Additionally, you can change the affinity of your weapons by using different whetblades to improve the default scaling of this weapon to better scale with your stats.

Good High Damage Early Game Weapon

Deals good physical damage than most Greatswords and can easily stagger and break Poise. It has good range and its normal and strong attacks can hit multiple enemies in one hit. Status effects such as Hemorrhage, Poison, and Frost can be added to the weapon to increase its damage output but keep in mind that using this weapon to apply debuffs to weaker enemies are less effective due to its hard hitting attacks.

It can be acquired fairly early and can be a good early game weapn that can be customized to fit your build or playstyle. Since this weapon is an enemy drop, picking up another one and powerstancing it can greatly increase the amount of damage you can do.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Stamp (Upward Cut) as its default weapon skill. When activated it places the user in a readied stance and can be followed up with a strong upward slash that can launch enemies upward.

If you are planning to powerstance this weapon with another greatsword, the Bloodhound Step Ash of War can give you enough mobility to avoid attacks and close the gap against agile enemies.
