Elden Ring Stakes of Marika.png

This guide will explain how to use Stakes of Marika as a checkpoint in the game Elden Ring. Read on to learn where to find the Stakes of Maria and the benefits of using one!

What are Stakes of Marika?

Areas Used as a Checkpoint

Stakes of Marika are a completely new feature in Elden Ring. These sites work as an additional ressurection point to Sites of Grace.

Dying near a Stake of Marika will give you the option of either ressurecting at a nearby Stake or at a Site of Grace.

How to Use a Stake of Marika

Enter the Range of a Stake of Marika

To be able to use a Stake of Marika as a resurrection point you must first be within range upon death.

If you were in range of one, an icon will be displayed on screen.

Benefits of Using a Stake of Marika

Return to your Last Location Faster

Stakes of Marika are typically placed at important areas where death is more likely to occur, such as near a boss. Using a Stake of Marika will allow you to return to where you just died or back to a boss fight much quicker than walking back from your last Site of Grace.
