Required Quests to Get Ansbach's Longbow
Ansbach Questline Leda Questline

Ansbach's Longbow is obtained either by assisting Ansbach against Leda or the other way around. You will receive the weapon after emerging victorious on either side. You will have to progress both questlines for them to meet in the Specimen Storehouse.

Note: The Hornsent will also have an invasion sequence against Leda before Ansbach. If you help the Hornsent against Leda during this invasion, you will not be able to get Ansbach's Longbow since Leda will no longer invade Ansbach.

Important Questline Choices to Get Ansbach's Longbow

How to Get Ansbach's Longbow
1 Leda and Hornsent summon signs in the Shadow Keep
Progress Leda's quest far enough until you reach the point where she fights the Hornsent in the Shadow Keep. To get Ansbach's Longbow later, you must either assist Leda in this fight or ignore it completely.

If you got involved in the fight and chose Leda's side, you must talk to her again at the Highroad Cross afterwards.
2
Find Ansbach and Leda's summon signs on the Specimen Storehouse, First Floor, and choose who to side with. You will receive Ansbach's Longbow regardless of who the victor is.
Your choice will, however, affect the encounters at Enir-Ilim later on.

Assist Ansbach - He will be available as an ally against Leda and Radahn if you gave him the Secret Rite Scroll while he's still in the Shadow Keep.

Assist Leda - Ansbach's questline ends, and you will have Sanguine Noble Nataan as a gold summon in his stead.
