How to use Forked Hatchet

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Forked Hatchet scales with Dexterity and has the highest stat scaling bonus with this attribute. Equipping the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom talisman can further increase the damage dealt by this weapon.

The default scaling of the Forked Hatchet can be changed or improved by using whetblades to apply different affinities.

Has a Passive Blood Loss Buildup

This weapon's physical attacks cause blood loss to build up and filling up the meter will inflict Hemorrhage to an enemy dealing damage that is relative to their HP. It has a very good buildup rate that can be improved by applying a blood affinity with a Black Whetblade. It is a versatile weapon for bleed builds and since it is an enemy drop, you can farm this weapon to powerstance it with a duplicate.

It has the standard move set for axes that can effectively apply the status effect and the Lord of Blood's Exultation talisman will increase the damage of your attacks when Bleed is applied in the vicinity. Ashes of War such as Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist are recommended as additional damage sources that can complement the weapon's passive ability.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and the default weapon skill Quickstep, which allows the user to perform a dash in any direction to avoid attacks and look for openings to attack your opponent.
