How to Use Iron Ball

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Iron Ball scales with Strength and Dexterity and has the highest scaling bonus with the Strength attribute. This means leveling up this stat will have the most increase in the weapon's physical attack damage.

It does not scale well with Dexterity but can be improved by changing the weapon's affinity with whetblades. This allows the armament to scale better with your other attributes and gives you the freedom to customize it to fit your build or playstyle.

Best Ashes of War

Fast Hitting Weapon

This weapon has the default move set for Fist type weapons which include fast normal attacks capable of easily stun locking enemies and bludgeoning strong attacks that can break an enemy's poise.

It deals a good amount of damage and can easily apply status effects such as Hemorrhage, Frost, and Poison are recommended affinities for an additional damage source.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Braggart's Roar by default. When this skill is activated it performs a shout that boosts your attack power, stamina recovery, and defense.

The skill takes a bit of time to cast and draws attention with the shout, using it far away from enemies is ideal if you do not want them aggroed on you.
