How to Use Scorpion's Stinger

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Scorpion's Stinger is a Dagger that scales with Dexterity followed by Strength. It has high scaling with the Dexterity attribute and leveling this stat will have the most bonus physical damage increase for this weapon.

Has a Passive Scarlet Rot Buildup

The effects of Scarlet Rot are similar to Poison but deals more damage over a much shorter period of time. Most enemies and bosses are weak to Scarlet Rot and the weapon's fast attacks allow you to apply the status effect much faster. The talisman Kindred of Rot's Exultation will increase your attack power by 20% when Scarlet Rot is applied to you or enemies in the vicinity.

Weapon Skill is Useful for Applying Debuff

The weapon's default skill Repeating Thrust performs four consecutive forward thrusts. It is good at dealing damage quickly to a single target but has low Poise damage and enemies that are using shields or have high Poise will take a lot of hits before being staggered.

It is not infusable with Ashes of War but the damage output of this skill can be increased. Talismans that increases attack power with successive attacks such as Millicent's Prosthesis, Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Winged Sword Insignia are good supplementary equipment to use.
