How to Use Miquellan Knight's Sword

Scales with Faith, Strength, and Dexterity

The Miquellan Knight's Sword has low initial scaling with Faith followed by equal scaling for both Dexterity and Strength. Upgrading this weapon will eventually improve its scaling with your Faith attribute.

Leveling either your Strength or Dexterity attribute will have the same amount of bonus physical attack damage gain while adding points to Faith will increase the amount of Holy damage you can do.

Good Holy Damage Weapon

The sword has additional Holy damage making it particularly effective against enemies that have a low resistance to this damage type. It has fast slashing and piercing attacks that deal a good amount of physical attack damage.

The weapon can deal even more Holy damage with the talisman Two Fingers Heirloom which raises your Faith attribute.

Weapon Skill Buffs Holy Damage

This weapon is not infusable with Ashes of War and comes equipped with the weapon skill Sacred Blade. This skill imbues the weapon with a golden glow before firing a blade-shaped projectile that inflicts Holy damage. The weapon will retain its essence for a while increasing the Holy damage dealt by attacks during the period.

Paring this skill with the talisman Sacred Scorpion Charm will enhance the damage done by the projectile and increase the damage gained from the buff. Do note that while this talisman is equipped you will take more damage from all sources.

Weapon Skill Scales with Faith

Heavily investing in Faith will greatly increase the amount of damage this weapon skill can do but keep in mind that your weapon's physical attacks will have less damage output.

Before deciding on which attribute to level up, take into consideration which of the weapon's capabilities fit your build or playstyle.
