Obtain from the treasure chest guarded by the three Crystalians. From the Elphael Inner Wall Site of Grace, head innerward into the dungeon then turn left to see a huge tree. Jump on it to see the chest that contains the sword.

The Rotten Crystal Sword is a good melee weapon for Mage builds since it primarily scales with Intelligence and deals additional Magic damage. It also requires a bit of Dexterity to use the weapon.
The weapon's passive is strong against most enemies. The effects of Scarlet Rot are similar to Poison as it does damage over time based on the enemy's HP. Unlike Poison, Scarlet Rot deals more damage and has a shorter duration.
Its default weapon skill Spinning Slash unleashes quick slashes while spinning effectively hitting surrounding enemies. This skill is good at applying the Scarlet Rot effect since it has fast attacks and a very good range.
