How to Use Flowing Curved Sword

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Flowing Curved Sword scales equally with Dexterity and Strength initially but will have higher scaling with Dexterity once the weapon has been upgraded past +5. Therefore, adding points to this stat is the most optimal option for improving the overall damage dealt by physical attacks.

Additionally, you can change the affinity of your weapons by using different whetblades to improve the default scaling of this weapon to better scale with your stats. The Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising your Dexterity if you are planning to use this a Dexterity-based weapon.

Fast Hitting Melee Weapon

This weapon deals decent damage with fast, short-ranged attacks that can easily stun lock enemies with low Poise. It also has a unique strong attack animation that unleashes a barrage of fast-spinning attacks that can be effectively used when surrounded by enemies.

Its fast attacks can easily apply status effects and Ashes of War such as Seppuku, Chilling Mist, or Poisonous Mist are recommended as additional damage sources.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Spinning Slash as its default weapon skill. It enables the user to perform a 360-degree spinning slash capable of hitting surrounding enemies. This skill can be followed up with another input to perform another spinning attack.
