Can Be Used On Any Type of Enemy

Due to the versatility of this skill and the fact that the player doesn't have to do the two follow-up attacks, it can be used not only for clearing groups of enemies, but also as a single target attack.

The weapon itself causes blood loss buildup and using the skill will trigger it faster because of the number of hits.

This can be used pointblank because the enemy AI will not punish the move right away.

However, take note that if a player has low Poise, they can be interrupted at any time during the cast animation.

Not Recommended For PvP

Many players participating in PvP have already fought Malenia, and most likely have learned how to dodge this move. However, even if they haven't, without armor giving high Poise, the one using the skill can be punished at any time during the cast animation.

Therefore, it's not recommended to spam this skill in PvP.
