How to Use Bloodboon Ritual

One of the Best Farming Skills

Bloodboon Ritual's AoE damage is wide and the continuous blood damage is pretty high, making this one of the most effective ways to farm large groups of enemies. One of the spots where this is frequently used is on the groups of Second Generation Albinaurics found near the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace.

Can Melt Enemies

If the player is wearing armor with high Poise, they can spam the skill as many times as they wish with little chance of being interrupted. The damage dealt to enemies and even bosses is devastating and will even stagger them if they have low Poise.

Take note that if you're fighting undead enemies, the three instances of damage is enough to keep them down if they die within one or two hits as the third will serve as the killing blow.

Use With a Shield In PvP

Players with Strength builds have maximized this skill by pairing the weapon with a Greatshield and triggering the bloodflame buff. Due to the stability of the shield, they can deflect attacks while retaliating with the spear.

Bloodflame will deal both fire damage and will cause blood loss build up, which means the player wins the battle of attrition, especially if they manage to pull off a guard counter.
