How to Use Broadswoard
Scales with Strength and Dexterity
The Broadsword scales primarily with Strength followed by Dexterity and adding points to your Strength attribute will have the most bonus physical damage increase. Changing this weapon's affinity can improve its default scaling to maximize the amount of damage you can get from your stats.
Status effects such as Hemorrhage, Poison, or Frost can be added to this weapon for an additional damage source.
Good Early Game Weapon
This is a very good early game weapon that can deal good amounts of damage in the early game with its fast slashing and pierce attacks. It deals a fair amount of damage to Poise, capable of staggering most enemies in a few hits. Two-handing this weapon will increase the damage of its attacks.
Infusable with Ashes of War
This weapon can be infused with compatible Ashes of War and is equipped with Square Off as its default weapon skill. This skill when activated puts the user in a readied stance, a normal attack input will perform an upward slash while a strong attack input will unleash a running forward thurst.
