Grave Scythe Location, Stats, and Scaling

Grave Scythe is a Reaper in Elden Ring that scales with Strength and Dexterity. Read on to learn how to get the Grave Scythe, as well as its location, description, upgrades, stat requirements, and best Ashes of War.

Grave Scythe Location

Dropped by Skeletons Wielding Grave Scythes

The Grave Scythe has a 2% chance to drop from Skeletons wielding Grave Scythes found throughout the Lands Between. The easiest place to farm for the Grave Scythe is in the graveyard to west of the Lake-Facing Cliffs site of grace in Liurnia of the Lakes.

3 Grave Scythe-wielding Skeletons can be farmed at the graveyard and 2 more (with 1 using an Executioner's Greataxe) can be found at a different graveyard to the west of the Church of Irith.

Grave Scythe Farming Route
1
If you have not made it to Liurnia of the Lakes, you can get to the Lake-Facing Cliffs either by going through the Stormveil Castle (requires defeating Godrick the Grafted) or through an alternate path to the north near the collapsed bridge.
2
West of the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace are the graveyards where you can find Grave Scythe Skeletons. You can farm 3 skeletons at the closest graveyard and 2 more at the furthest. To go to the next graveyard, can traverse the narrow path with Torrent to quickly get to the next graveyard or go around to the west of Church of Irith.
3
Defeat the skeletons until they drop the Grave Scythe. Prevent them from reviving by hitting their spirits after they have collapsed or by using Holy weapons or attacks that prevent revival (such as Sacred Blade). Afterwards, return to the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace to respawn them.

Boost Drop Rate by Increasing Item Discovery and Arcane Stats

Items That Boost Item Discovery
Talismans Silver Scarab (+ Item Discovery)
Outer God Heirloom (+ Arcane)
Marika's Soreseal (+ Arcane)
Consumables Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot
Silver Horn Tender
Armor Silver Tear Mask (+ Arcane)

The Grave Scythe has a base drop rate of 2% from Grave Scythe Skeletons (Skeletal Grave Wardens). We highly recommend boosting your item discovery rate by using items like the Silver-Picked Fowl Foot and the Silver Horn Tender to increase the chances of getting the Grave Scythe.

Additionally, you can also equip the Silver Scarab talisman to give you a hefty boost to your discovery rate.
