All Painting Locations and Rewards

Paintings are part of small sidequest in Elden Ring that takes you hunting for the scenes depicted in them. Read on to find out more about the Paintings, where to find each of them, the rewards, and more!

What Are the Paintings?

A Small Hunting Sidequest

The Paintings are different pictures of a scenic view of somewhere in The Lands Between that were made by the Artist. These Paintings are scattered all over the game.

The goal of the sidequest is to not only find all the Paintings, but to visit each location that they are depicting. Once you succesfully visit the location, an apparition of the Artist will appear and you will also receive a reward.

You can check the Paintings you've found by going to the Info section in your inventory.

On the cliffs beneath the Minor Erdtree near Fort Faroth.

Finding the Artist's spirit will require a bit of parkouring and will most likely take several tries. From Fort Faroth, head towards the Minor Erdtree and use the Spirit Spring to go down. Look for a pot on the right side of the area that is nestled in a V-shaped ledge.

Over the ledge, you'll see a big tree root. Jump down and slowly make your way to the ground. The spirit will be in the area left of the Golem (don't approach it or it will get up), on the ledge overlooking the beach.

On the bridge west of Stargazers' Ruins.

Finding this painting will take some enemy dodging. From the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Grace, head inside and go left. Go past the large spikes and go right, entering the door with slugs inside.

Run past them and go up the ladder. At the top, take the path to the right and past the wooden rampart. There will be enemies firing explosive arrows at you.

Once you're past the first ballista shooting at you, head up the wooden stairs. There will be a ladder going down from here. Climb down to find the painting.
