How to Use Weathered Straight Sword

Scales with Dexterity and Strength

The Weather Straight Sword equally scales with Dexterity followed by Strength. The default scaling can be improved by changing the weapon's affinity or upgrading the weapon to scale better with your attributes.

Heavy affinity will improve its strength scaling while the Keen affinity will improve the scaling with Dexterity.

Decent Early Game Weapon

This weapon is an early game weapon that requires very minimal stat requirements to use. It has the default moveset for straight swords and deals a decent amount of damage. It is a good temporary weapon to use if you don't have either Longsword or Broadsword in your inventory.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with compatible Ashes of War and is equipped with Square Off as its default weapon skill. This skill when activated puts the user in a readied stance, a normal attack input will perform an upward slash while a strong attack input will unleash a running forward thrust.
