Players on Canon of Creation will not encounter this quest in their initial playthrough, but can be encountered during their New Game+ run by choosing the Canon of Vengeance this time.

How to Complete Heart of Garnet

Objectives
1 The Jouin Student will ask you to track down and defeat a rogue Vouivre demon.

Vouivre Location
You'll find the demon nearby, just southeast of the the North Shinagawa Leyline Fount. Just teleport there and head towards the marker.
3 Defeat Vouivre in combat.

4 Decide what to do with Vouivre to end the quest.

This functions as a story choice that can influence your Canon of Vengeance ending.
  • Kill Vouivre - gain Law Alignment and favor with Tao.
  • Spare Vouivre - gain Chaos Alignment and favor with Yoko.

    How to Beat Vouivre

    Vouivre

    Vouivre is weak to Ice, but is equipped with Poison skills like Toxic Cloud, Blight, and Venom Chaser, which increases her damage on your party if it is poisoned.

    Bring a demon equipped with Me Patra or use Amrita Sodas and Showers to clear the Poison ailment before Vouivre can use Venom Chaser.
