The quest-giver is Demeter, who can be found at the western part of Taito. You can get here from the Shinobazu Pond leyline fount and heading southwest.

How to Complete The Bull God's Lineage

Objectives
1 The Bull God
Talk to Demeter found at the western side of Taito. Pick any of the dialogue options, as they don't change the result of the quest. Accept Demeter's quest to defeat Baal.

The Bull God
Baal can be found at the top of the same spiral mountain where you fought Belphegor in the previous quest The Tyrant of Tennozu.
3 The Bull God
Upon reaching the top of the mountain, you will face Baal. Baal will give you a choice. Either answer won't change the outcome of the quest. Whichever you pick, Baal will still fight you. Defeat Baal.

4 The Bull God
After defeating Baal, return to Demeter to complete the quest. You will receive 1 Gospel and 100000 EXP as rewards. Deity Baal will also be unlocked for fusion.

Baal Can Use Ice Block

Even with weakness to Ice, Baal can use Ice Block, usually before ending his turn. Refrain using Ice skills when he uses this skill (unless it ignores affinity resistance like Ice Age) and switch to Physical or Dark attacks while Ice Block is active.

Vulnerable to Ailments

Although Baal is resistant to all ailments, he is still vulnerable to them. Try using Ailment skills or items if you have press turns to spare or if you have skills that both deal damage and inflict ailments.

We recommend inflicting Seal, Charm, and Sleep, especially when Baal uses Omagatoki: Critical.
