Weak to Force Uses Attack a lot Vulnerable to ailments Bring Light Dampeners

Uses Attack a Lot

Michael will use the basic Attack command almost every round so it would be better if your entire team has resistance to Physical attacks for both axing his press turn icons and survivability.

Vulnerable to Ailments

Although Michael is resistant to all ailments, he is still vulnerable to them. Try using Ailment skills or items if you have press turns to spare or if you have skills that both deal damage and inflict ailments like Dark Sword.

We recommend inflicting Seal, Charm, and Sleep, especially when Michael uses Omagatoki: Critical.

Bring Light Dampeners

Michael will use Mahamabarion the next round after using Omagatoki: Critical (when he starts gathering Magatsuhi). Since it is a guaranteed Severe critical hit to your team, use a Light Dampener to block the attack and make him lose press turn icons.

Best Demons to Use Against Michael

Demons with high Physical skill potential

At this point of the game, having demons with high Physical skill potential can deal more damage than striking weakness, especially when the attack critically hits. Demons like Kali, Odin, and Futsunushi are excellent choices for the attacker role.

Force skills for additional press turns

It wouldn't hurt to bring demons with Force skills as they can still dish out decent damage and net you additional turns. Alternatively, you can use Force Shards or Force Gems in case your demons don't have Force skills in their moveset or if you run out of MP.

Resistant to Michael's attacks

Michael mostly uses Physical and Fire skills. Have demons resistant to these affinities like Khonsu Ra, Yamata-no-Orochi, and Kali for survivability and press turn burning, especially against Physical attacks since Michael uses the Attack command a lot.

Lakshmi or Tao as Support

Lakshmi's Luster Candy and Tao's Light of Order will prove useful both offensively and defensively. Though they consume a chunk of your MP, these skills can strengthen your skills and boost your survivability throughout the fight against Michael, considering he doesn't have Dekaja.

If you don't have enough Chakra Pots, you can have one of them in your active team and the other in your demon stock so you can switch them if either runs out of MP.
