Magatsuhi Demons are more powerful than regular demons and have the potential to drop rare items that their standard counterparts do not. These demons can utilize any number of Magatsuhi Skills, irrespective of their race.
They are recognizable by their red, glowing Magatsuhi auras. This aura signifies that these enemies are tougher than usual, but defeating them offers increased EXP and better rewards.
SMT V: Vengeance - All New Features
Defeating Magatsuhi Demons will also reward you with Incense, which can be used to improve the stats of your allied demons.
With this in mind, Magatsuhi Demons can potentially become a valuable farming method for Incense, as they can help you enhance the stats of all your allied demons with the variety of Incense you get as reward.
