High Magic (Mag), Agility (Agi)
Medium Strength (Str), Vitality (Vit)
Low Luck (Lck)

Magic Damage and Agility

This build prioritizes increasing damage of Magic attacks, as well as increasing hit/evasion rate. It is possible to have a diverse skillset that can tap into several elemental affinities early on in the game, and taking advantage of that can make the Nahobino an effective damage-dealing mage.

You can exploit enemy weakness by using elemental skills and dish out higher damage by increasing Magic. Improve your Agility for a better hit/evasion rate and it will be much easier to secure more turns for your party in return.

    Physical Damage and Agility

This build prioritizes increasing Str for Physical damage, and Agi for hit/evasion rate. While Physical skills cost MP, the damage output is still directly tied to the Str stat and so prioritizing increasing Str is a must so your Nahobino can be an effective Phys skill-based attacker.

Nahobino starts out with a normal Physical attack and will eventually be able to learn other Phys skills, it will best to start out investing points to your Str build early on.

    Best Essences: Skills

    High Damage Strength Build

    Recommended Skills
    Stat Priority
    High Strength (Str), Vitality (Vit)
    Medium Agility (Agi), Magic (Mag)
    Low Luck (Lck)

    Strength Damage and Vitality

The enemies start having multiple resistances come mid-game. It's highly recommended to allocate your stat points to Strength (Str) to deal massive damage once the Nahobino has learned the Almighty Strength-based skill, Sakanagi.

At this point in the game, Sakanagi is one of the strongest moves due to its Almighty affinity - which bypasses any skill resistance a demon may have.

Having a focus on Strength (Str) and Vitality (Vit), the Nahobino is able to take significant damage while also dealing great damage.

    Recommended Skills

    Bloody Glee Increases Critical Rate
Phys Pleroma Increases Physical attack damage.
Wrath Tempest 8 Weak Physical attacks to random foes. Higher effect when Critical.
Great Life Spring Greatly Increases MAX HP.

    Magic-Tank Build

    Recommended Skills
    Stat Priority
    High Magic (Mag), Vitality (Vit)
    Medium Agility (Agi), Strength (Str)
    Low Luck (Lck)

    Magic Focused Nahobino

While enemies start having multiple resistances mid-game, a Magic build is still worth pursuing given the unique Nahobino skills you can get from Aogami Essences. Skill resistances can still by bypassed once the Nahobino learns Almighty skill, Divine Arrowfall.

Alloting skill points to Magic (Mag) while having support-type demons to buff the Nahobino will assure massive Magic damage to your foes.

    Recommended Skills

Divine Arrowfall Heavy Almighty attack to all foes.
Profaned Land Heavy Dark attack to 1 foe. Chance of inflicting Poison.
Ruinous Thunder Heavy Electric attack to 1 foe.
Great Mana Spring Greatly Increases MAX MP.

    Late-Game Build

Aogami png.pngSMT V: Vengeance PSA This list is currently being updated to include new demon essences available in Vengeance, stay tuned for more updates!

    Pure Strength Build

    Recommended Skills
    Stat Priority
    High Strength (Str)
    Medium Vitality (Vit), Agility (Agi)
    Low Magic (Mag), Luck (Lck)

    Critical Focused Attacks

Having high a Strength stat by late-game is ideal despite having a number of enemies that resist Physical attacks. Having Murakumo, which is a Strength-based Almighty skill is best for this build especially when paired with Pleromas and passives that increase chances of Critical damage. Murakumo is a skill that deals greater damage when the attack is Critical.

In order to bypass enemies' resistance to Physical attacks, you can opt to add the Support skill Impaler's Animus which adds Pierce effect to your next attack all while increasing its damage.

For this build, Non-Critical attacks are nerfed, but all Critical attacks are at its strongest. It is highly recommended to have a party that buffs your Physical attack all while consistently making use of the Magatsuhi Skill Omagatoki: Critical.

    Recommended Skills

High Almighty Pleroma Greatly increases Almighty attack damage.
High Phys Pleroma Greatly increases Physical attack damage.
Impaler's Animus Increases the damage of the next attack and adds Pierce effect for self.
Critical Zealot Increases Critical damage, but normal damage decreases.

    Pure Magic Build

    Recommended Skills
    Stat Priority
    High Magic (Mag)
    Medium Vitality (Vit), Agility (Agi)
    Low Strength (Str), Luck (Lck)

    Almighty and Support Skills Focused

Megidolaon is one of the strongest Magic-based Almighty skills in the game. Unlike Strength-based Almighty skills like Murakumo, Megidolaon deals damage to all foes and goes past any skill resistances.

Focusing solely on the Magic stat will surely deal massive damage to your foes - moreso when the Nahobino or his allies have skills that can buff his Magic damage.

The key is to buff your party and to debuff your foes in order to deal massive Magic damage.

    Recommended Skills

High Almighty Pleroma Greatly increases Almighty attack damage.
Concentrate Greatly increases the damage of the next Magic-based attack from self.
Luster Candy Raises all stats of all allies by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Debilitate Lowers all stats of all foes by 1 rank for 3 turns.

The learning system for skills in SMT is straightforward. Nahobino can learn skills by fusing essences of demons you obtain throughout your journey. However, Essences doesn't come cheap and properly managing your essence usage is vital for a smooth playthrough in your game.

Your tables are confusing. You have "Ability (Vit)" and "Vitality (Agi)" in several places.
