Note: This quest is only made available after completing the A Golden Opportunity main quest in Fairy Village.

How to Complete The Root of the Problem

Objectives
1 The Root of the Problem 1
Talk to Silky in the Fairy Village. She can only give this quest if you have done the A Golden Opportunity main quest.

The Root of the Problem 2
Silky will tell you to collect Mandrake Roots from Mandrakes. Head north of the Fairy Village to find Mandrakes.

Mandrake
Defeat 10 Mandrakes. They will be low-leveled and easy enough to defeat. Mandrakes are weak to Fire.
4
Narcissus
The battles will get a bit tougher when Narcissus enemeis pop up alongside the Mandrakes. They are also weak to Fire, and they cast Force magic.
5 The Root of the Problem 5
Once you've collected the 10 Mandrake Roots, head back to Silky to collect your reward: A Fairy Talisman and 6000 EXP.
