Debuff Futsunushi's Attacks Cast Taunt on Phys-Resistant Ally Demon Consistently Use Dark Skills
|
Mitigate damage Futsunushi deals on your party by casting debuff skills such as Tarunda or Debilitate. Cast any of these skills at least once every turn so it stacks against Futsunushi, or negates buffs Futsunushi casts onto itself.
This strategy works against Futsunushi's Catastrophe which is a severe Physical attack on 1 foe. Catastrophe is Futsunushi's main attack, so it is best to have your ally demon that can block Phys become the bait for this attack and have them either tank or block Futsunushi's attack.
Futsunushi is weak to Dark, and capitalizing on the weakness-exploit system will benefit you a lot—effectively attacking Futsunushi and securing more turns for your team all at the same time.

Exploit Futsunushi's weakness to Dark by bringing along demons that have Dark skills. Use demons that have Mudo or its other variations. Take advantage of the weakness-exploit system to effectively attack Futsunushi and secure more turns for your party.
Bring along demons that can either resist, block, null, or absorb Phys attacks. Use this demon as bait for Futsunushi's Phys-based attack by using Taunt, and have them tank or block Futsunushi's attack.
Counter Futsunushi's Support skillset by using Tarunda or Debilitate. Futsunushi has 2 skills in its arsenal that boost its attacks.
Turn Futsunushi into an ineffective attacker by using Tetrakarn, effectively blocking its attacks as Futsunushi is a Phys-based attacker. Demons with Tetrakarn will come in handy at times Phys Dampeners are not available at your disposal.
