Bring Demons with Dark and Fire Resistance

Ichiro primarily uses fire attacks, while Abdiel uses dark attacks. Both have heavy damage outputs, so it's best to bring demons that can at least resist both elements, especially dark, as it can instakill if you or your party is weak to it.

Also Bring Demons with Light and Ice Proficiencies

Additionally, consider bringing demons that can deal heavy ice and light damage to exploit Ichiro and Abdiel's weaknesses, respectively.

Demon Strengths and Weaknesses

Defeat Ichiro First

During combat, it is recommended to focus on Ichiro first. His kit can not only deal heavy damage but also inflict status ailments that can handicap you and your team.

Start with a team that can deal heavy to severe ice damage, then switch to demons with light skills when you focus on Abdiel next once you defeat Ichiro.

Use Physical or Fire Dampener

Once Abdiel and Ichiro start gathering Magatsuhi, use a fire dampener and a phys dampener to block their attacks. Ichiro will use one of their fire and physical skills the next turn, so using these dampeners will negate their critical hits.

Learn the Knowledge of Tools Miracle

Since the combat will involve status ailments, it's best to learn the Knowledge of Tools miracle, which allows your demons to use healing items as well. Make sure to learn it to avoid losing too many turns from status conditions!

Learn Abyssal Mask from Aogami Type-10

You can equip the Abyssal Mask skill to minimize the chances of being inflicted with status conditions from Dazai's Tentarafoo and Slumber Vortex. You can learn this passive skill from Aogami Type-10, which you can find in Komagata in Taito.

Tzitzimitl is also a versatile demon to add to your team, especially if you're looking to counter Ichiro. She naturally has immunity to dark and can inherit immunity to fire if fused with Adramalech

To obtain Tzitzimitl with fire immunity, make sure to fuse Adramalech and Kresnik.

If you're using Agrat, make sure to include Eishet as well to take advantage of their innate skills, which require Qadistu demons in the team. Eishet can serve as your wall, as she naturally resists fire and dark. She can also dish out good physical damage, as it's her main damage output.

You can summon Eishet by fusing Mitra, Loki, and Forneus.

If you're looking for an accessible support, Tao can fill that role on your team, especially if you don't have access to DLC demons like Konohana Sakuya. Tao provides excellent support with her Light of Order skill, which heals and buffs the team.

To get Tao, simply progress through the game until you reach Taito, where she'll join you.

Konohana Sakuya can also serve as a great support unit, as she comes with a variety of support and healing skills. She also resists fire, allowing her to survive Ichiro's fire attacks without taking too much damage.

However, Konohana Sakuya is a DLC-exclusive demon, so make sure to purchase it to get the Sakura Cinders of the East and recruit her eventually.
