Have a Dedicated Tank Always Keep Attack Debuffs on Artemis Use Ice Dampeners against Her Magatsuhi Charge Consider Daisoujou With Preach
|
Artemis' attacks hits hard. Having an ally (preferably with Physical Resistance) be the focus of her attacks is highly recommended. A Black Ooze fused with a leveled-up Ippon-Datara can learn Taunt while being a tanky menace due to its High Vitality and Physical resistance.
Debuffs and Buffs has always been the game of the Shin Megami Tensei series. Since debuffs now expire in SMT 5, having a demon that can readily re-apply Attack debuffs on Artemis is highly recommended. Pisaca is a demon that has Fang Breaker (physical skill that lowers attack damage) and it also has no weakness to Lightning so consider having it in your roster.
Thankfully, her Magatushi attack is Mabufula which is an Ice Elemental AoE attack. Prepare for the fight with Ice Dampeners on your inventory before going into the battle to avoid taking massive damage from her magatsuhi onslaught.
Applying debuffs to bosses are tough due to their resistance to ailments. However, Daisoujou's Preach attempts to apply 3 ailments in one turn. This makes Preach more reliable than other ailment inducing abilities in the game.

Artemis hits hard and by hard, we mean really hard. Having one ally taking the aggro from Artemis is much needed or the fight becomes considerably harder. To fuse a Black Ooze with Taunt, you'll have to fuse a leveled up Ippon-Datara with Loa. Alternatively, you can use an Ippon-Datara essence if you have one and just inherit the Taunt skill via Essence Fusion.
To prolong the team's survivability, having demons that can apply attack debuffs to Artemis is much needed. Pisaca with his Fang Breaker does this job extremely well. Another choice is by using Essence Fusion via one demon and an Archangel Essence.
Once Artemis falls to 50% HP, she'll start using Astral Saintstrike which can be lethal against squishy members of your team. This is especially true without attack debuffs. Her assault becomes really strong at this Phase so having Parvati always ready with a charged Media is quite useful. We also recommend fusing an Archangel Essence with her so she just doesn't standby when no ally are in need of healing.
