Dragon Scales are quest items required by Ippon-Datara in the Downtown Rock 'n Roll sidequest in Shin Megami Tensei 5 (SMT V). Read on to know where to find Dragon Scales and the enemies that drop Dragon Scales.

Collecting Dragon Scales is needed to complete the Downtown Rock 'n Roll sidequest in Taito.
You can collect Dragon Scales from Fafnir and Yamata-no-Orochi that roam around Taito. Defeating each one will give you 1 Dragon Scale. Defeat 10 of them to get 10 Dragon Scales.
Fafnir can be found to the east, west, and south of the Ueno Leyline Fount. Yamata-no-Orochi can only be found in the south.
Downtown Rock 'n Roll Sidequest Walkthrough
Fafnirs are weak against Ice and Electric, so hit it with whatever magic you have. Physical attacks won't do much, as it it resistant to Physical.
Use powerful Zio skills on Yamata-no-Orochi to gain the advantage over it. Yamata-no-Orochi is also weak to Sleep, Poison, and Confuse.
Note: Yamata-no-Orochi are high-level enemies and are difficult to kill. It is recommended to go after Fafnirs instead.
