How to Beat Zeus

Weak to Force Give Nahobino resistance to Physical and Electric Obtain the Aogami Type-0 Essence Remove Seal using Amrita Showers Bring Elec Dampeners

Give the Nahobino Resistance to Physical and Electric

It's game over if the Nahobino falls in battle so you'll have to give him attention the most when planning your defenses.

Fuse an essence to the Nahobino that will give him resistance to Physical and Electric attacks like Belphegor's. Although if you're going to use Elec Dampeners against Zeus' Maziodyne, you can choose an essence with resistance to just Physical instead since his other Electric skill, Keraunos, ignores affinity resistance.

Obtain the Aogami Type-0 Essence

If you're using a Strength build on the Nahobino, we recommend acquiring the Aogami Type-0 Essence and learning Murakumo. Murakumo deals severe Strength-based Almighty damage, which can deal more damage than aiming for Zeus' weakness with Force skills, especially if it crits.

You can obtain this essence from a treasure box on the west side of Asakusa.

Remove Seal Using Amrita Showers

Zeus can use Madness Glint and inflict Seal on your team, preventing you from using skills. Use an Amrita Shower to remove the Seal, especially when more than one ally is affected.

Bring Elec Dampeners

Zeus will use Maziodyne the next round after gathering Magatsuhi. Since it is a guaranteed critical hit to your team, use an Elec Dampener to block the attack and make him lose press turn icons.

Use strong Physical attacks instead of Force attacks

At this point of the game, you can summon demons that can deal more damage with their Physical attacks than using Force attacks to target Zeus' weakness while also being resistant to Electric like Seth, Mara, and Thor.

Though not resistant to Electric, Futsunushi is also an excellent choice for this role especially with his Phys Pleroma. You can obtain Futsunushi by completing In Defense of Tokyo, which can be started by talking to Futsunushi found just south of Ueno Park's leyline fount.

Use Luster Candy or Light of Order for stat boosts

Lakshmi's Luster Candy and Tao's Light of Order are some neat Support skills that can raise your entire party's stats. Though they consume a huge chunk of your MP, these skills can strengthen your skills as well as boost your survivability throughout the fight against Zeus.

If you don't have enough Chakra Pots, you can have one of them in your active team and the other in your demon stock so you can switch them if either runs out of MP.

Keraunos +6	Unique Skill: Severe Strength-based Electric attack to 1 foe. Ignores affinity resistance and pierces through.
Impaler's Animus +1	Increases the damage of the next attack and adds Pierce effect for self.
Luster Candy +1	Raises all stats of all allies by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Madness Glint +2	Unique Skill: 2~5 weak Almighty attacks to random foes. Chance of inflicting Seal.
Maziodyne +6	Heavy Electric attack to all foes. Only used as a Magatsuhi Attack
Panta Spane +4	Unique Skill: Medium Physical attack to all foes. Lowers target's Attack/Defense by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Brave Blade +4	Heavy Physical attack to 1 foe. High chance of Critical.
Omagatoki: Critical	Magatsuhi Skill: All attacks, including magical attacks, will become Critical hits for all allies for 1 turn.
