Consecutive Encounters are a great way to farm EXP and Macca as it lets you face multiple demons in one combat session. These usually occur when engaging in battle in areas with several demons.
Consecutive Encounters Explained
Try to form a party with demons that have Innate Skills that compliment well with each other. As an example, you can have a party of demons with Innate Skills that enhance Fire attacks to battle a boss who is weak against Fire!
Magatsu Rails are a new addition in Canon of Vengeance and riding them leads you to areas that were not in the original SMT V story. These areas usually contain treasure chests, and some even have the new demons lurking around them.
The Demon Haunt is a hub where you can interact with Guest Characters and your demons, and possibly receive gifts from them. This is also a place where you can talk to Aogami to increase Nahobino's stats.
You can get here by going to any Leyline Fount and selecting Demon Haunt.
Defeat Magatsuhi Demons to obtain rare items, as well as more exp! They are easily distinguishable from normal demons as they glow in red. Just keep in mind that they are tougher than their regular counterparts.
Magatsuhi Demon Feature Explained
If you've played the original SMT V, you'll be able to transfer 3 active demons from your previous save file's compendium, as well as obtain bonus items to help you get started in your new playthrough.
